£22Eco Stove

Very simple ingredients, very impressive results
When fuel is scarce, this small stove can help a lot. This gift could train one woman to make a stove by hand from clay, donkey dung and water, and then pass on her know-how to others.
Your gift in action
Concern has taught villagers in Manasie, Sierra Leone how to make eco stoves and also provided basic tools like buckets and knives. The stoves are constructed out of clay and fibrous material like palm chaff, mixed with water. Margaret Tholley the village chairlady explains: "It takes three people to make one or two in a single day, but the stoves can last years if they are looked after. Every house in the village has one."
This gift goes towards our Livelihoods programme.
